Hi all! I bought a dozen BLRW eggs two years ago...2 hatched, both were roos, the prettiest blue one got eaten first thing this spring, so I just have this big splash boy left. I since picked up some Barnevelder roos, so I have a good breeding flock of those, and i plan to breed my Ameraucanas, so I've kinda given up on BLRWs.
"Coqie"(short for Coq au Vin) is a mild mannered, BIG, nicely built boy, he gets along with my other roos, and at going on 2, has yet to show any aggression. I can't get my camera to download, but i can get a cellphone pic if anyone's interested...he's also definitely fertile, i had an interesting white AM/BLRW mix chick this spring ;~) It was quite blue.
I don't mind driving to meet if need be!
