Out of my ten hens none have gone broody. They range from a year to six years old. My oldest will sit in the nest for a good part of the day when she goes in there to lay, but has never gone broody.

Does anyone know what the chicks would look like crossing a blew rooster with a barred Rock hen?

Have a broody blrw and I poked a few eggs under her and some are that cross.
