If the ground isn't frozen, what I would do is get step-in posts, wire, insulators and a fencer. (Charger, whatever you want to call it. The thing the electrifies the fence.) Put those step-in posts in the ground around the run, put your insulators on them, run the wire - maybe 4-5 strands. I think that would be less expensive than the electric poultry netting. (Not sure how the bottom strands would do covered in snow - hopefully someone can help us out here.) I believe Howard E has a good article on electric fences.
