Hello,
Here are pictures of our 10 week old Australorps. They weree guaranteed to be pullets, but I have a feeling that one is a cockerel because the comb and waddle are bigger and redder... but maybe some australorp pullets have that? I hope it isn't but if anyone can tell please let me know. I cannot tell them apart otherwise so we have named them as a group... "The Olives" haha. I will number them. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the help so far everyone... so the tally is 2 think the first is a pullet, and 3 think the first is a roo.... that is pretty close. Thank you for the link to the roo barred-rocks-rock. Hmmm... I am still a bit on the fence

Silly chickens!

I have BA's that are exactly 10 weeks old, and none of them look like that. He is a roo for sure. Most of the time the guarantee is about 98% accurate.

Males have more angular heads, pointier hackle and sickle feathers, and stand more upright. So, some other things for you to look for.

Regards, Gina
