I place 2 eggs one hatched the other looked iffy when candled I gave it to a momma hen. maybe she can make something out of it. I have some older chicks to give this baby to once it is walking and stuff.

Oh, I have a frizzle (bantam Cochin); I'm hoping for eggs in the spring. Please let us know how yours come out!!!

I'm new and I'm certainly no expert, but I think they look GORGEOUS!!!
I have comets, so I'm hoping they got the broody gene (well, maybe two of them; I don't have space for six broody hens [Giant, Banty Cochin, AND 4 Comets.])

Just haven't had anything to add of late is all. Tell us about your Orps, from whom did you get them?

Oh, I'm glad I didn't kill it. =)

I don't have Orps; I have gold Comets, one of them looks like an orp and acts like a RIR and the other three look like RIRs and act like Orps. lol
