these are my first chicks, and there is a pretty big difference in the color of the combs. One is very pale and peachy colored while the other two are red. All 3 were born approx. April 3.

So I'm looking at everyone's buffs, and I'm noticing how red the skin is on the combs and around the eyes. Mine are all pale red, maybe even a pinkish. Is that a sign of anemia? I just received them all on Saturday, so I am still getting to know chickens in general as these are my first. The oldest is about 2 years and the youngest maybe just shy of a year. The rooster has a beautifully red comb but the buff hens all have varying shades from red down to a pink.
