Nice picture.
The wingspan on those is crazy! The chickens run and hide the instant they see them.
I believe I’ve lost a few chickens because of them.
Maybe Black vultures, but turkey vultures would have to be very desperate to go after a live chicken. They are mostly carrion feeders. Blacks can and do kill chicks, eat eggs, and go after live prey on occasion.
