Nice picture.
The wingspan on those is crazy! The chickens run and hide the instant they see them.
I believe I’ve lost a few chickens because of them.

Maybe Black vultures, but turkey vultures would have to be very desperate to go after a live chicken. They are mostly carrion feeders. Blacks can and do kill chicks, eat eggs, and go after live prey on occasion.

Thanks! They don't bother my live chickens, but they do like to eat the ones I lose to predation.
