I slid a milk jug ring across the floor, & she chased it, & batted it around.

Our cats love those! They bat them, toss them up in the air and chase them.

Our 3 cats each get 1/8 of a 5 oz can morning and evening along with dry food. They are VERY insistent about it. 2 of the cats are also VERY insistent that they get treats after we eat dinner, the other cat doesn't care about treats or human food at all.

I need to just buy a case again or something. I haven’t in a while. I keep buying a few here and there at the feed store. Really need a case LOL

She has dry food available all the time but she’s addicted to her cans!! It doesn’t help that I was giving her one daily or every other day for a while till we ran out.

I need to buy her more before she riots LOL

She actually kinda slowly silently protests lately haha she used to yell at me all the time but now she’ll act all cute and sunbathe on the carpet, letting me give her belly rubs, or she’ll let me play with her with her favorite bird toy, and act all cute and cuddly but she’ll walk past her bowl numerous times daily, often just sitting there in front of it, staring at me, hoping I get the hint. And any time I open any can, she comes running in thinking it’s for her and will just stare at me.

Eventually, when I don’t cave and her all day long hints have not worked, she will begrudgingly eat the dry food LOL

She actually seems to like it and snacks all day but that doesn’t stop her from trying to demand a can.

Vet actually said she was slightly overweight lol but it was a vet we’d never had before and she’s almost 10... think a teeny bit of chub is normal. She hadn’t gained anything from the last visit.

But regardless, we are cutting back and playing more

She’s actually quite active for 9.

Cats seem to think almost everything as a toy.
I give our cats' each a half can of soft food as a dinner when we have it.
