Good morning Cafe. Back from camping had a wonderful time just BF and I. Tiadnapam owned and managed by Tacoma Power was our destination..

Did the concrete in the bricks of the new coop 36 filled 3 or 4 inches each .. We did short work with clam shovels.

DH made some salsa today. This year's tomatoes, onions, garlic, and some of last year's habaneros from the freezer. Waaaaay too hot for me.

Almost... I ran out of underlayment on the other side and had to tarp it.
AND an 8/12 pitch is significantly steeper than a 5/12 pitch. I slid three times and gave myself a heart attack! I couldn't finish the underlayment even if I had it on the far side because I HAVE to get on the roof to reach it.
I am going to go to the local sporting goods store and get a pair of skate shoes. And borrow the neighbors safety harness and tie myself off before attempting to finish the addition.
I'm dead beat and am resting for a bit before I take the dogs for the run they didn't get this morning.

Oh. Funny story...
As I was dragging tarps around the yard to fold them, I kept hearing a crunching/shooshing sound coming from the chicken pen. I went over to the fence and as Fabio started walking up to me, I noticed he had a large dried up oak leaf skewered to his left spur!
