Was honestly going to (finally) make the cookies I had scheduled for Christmas. I thought I bought Pillsbury flour. Turns out it is Gold Medal and the code & date of the tons being recalled for salmonella. Still have the receipt but, the store is kinda "Iffy" would like to ask if I could get a different brand - smaller bag is fine. I don't need 5 lbs. when I almost never bake anymore.

I thought baking would kill salmonella but, not sure

Not usually. I offered it but she wouldn't touch it.

I just went out to run an errand on my lunch break and it looks like a polar vortex was whipping through the parking lot. I couldn't see 3 feet in front of my face. And car alarms were going off all around me! That part was pretty funny.
