Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.

Not as grand as a sunrise over the water with clear skies but still beautiful.

This is the North end of the beach. Those are burnt pilings from cottages that were burned to the ground after the owner of this property passed away. There's a very interesting story about why those houses got burned down and why the South end of the beach still has cottages.

So it was frosty and 38F this morning around here, with some rain last evening. The snow drifts are almost gone.
I need to cut up some more trees and plant some cold hardy seeds in the garden.

This snapping turtle is in our side yard right now. Its head is easily the size of my fist.

What does Freya say about this intruder? Hopefully, she knows to avoid it!

It's pouring down out there. Combine that with the strong winds coming off of the bay and you end up with a lot of rain down your pants.

As it seems, there is quite an onslaught to your panties lately.

I need to cut up some more trees and plant some cold hardy seeds in the garden.

I desperately need to get the cucumber and pumpkin seedlings into the new raised bed, but for the last few days we are experiencing very strong winds and I am worried they will just get ripped away.

Thinking about some kind of windshield construction.
