Thank you. I am thinking about adding a rooster but I am still trying to figure out if I have a rooster in the bunch already.

What breeds do you have? I have 2 EEs, 1 silver Wyandotte, 1 black sexlink, and buff Orpington.

I breed American Games, but I have an extra young Rhode Island Red rooster I have been trying to find a good home for (not for eating lol).

I dont have a picture of the RIR rooster right now.. ill try to get one by tomorrow.

How young? My girls are 5-8 weeks. Will the RIR mix well with them?

I think he is 4 or 5 months, not crowing or mating yet. He is a layer breed and would go well with other layers. Gentle with all the other chickens. He has cool white speckled in his red feathers.

I no longer have a need for a roo. The one I wanted to breed was eaten by the dogs when she escaped her yard.
