My husband went into Lamar and said there were branches down all over town. Someone told him they had lost power, but it had been restored.

It got very windy down here. I didn't notice any damage and power just flashed once or twice. There was tons of lightening and hardly any rain

Lamar’s Tractor Supply, ( we‘ve started calling it Tractorchelns) had their Grand Opening over the weekend. They gave away free hats. I know it means we’re advertising for them, but they are the good kind of hats.


Their feed selection was okay, but if you’re a date checker, they weren’t the freshest dates. We drove down to Carthage today to get some Kalmbach 20% Flock Maker. We got one with the (Julian) date of 200 which is July 19th! It’s also only 21.99 for 50 lbs. So is their Purina which is $6 more at TSC.
