Can a chick get a prolapsed vent?

I have a nearly 2 weeks old chick that trills every time he needs to poop. He strains and strains and it looks like his vent kind of inverts about 1 cm out of his body. It looks like a little straw or hose is coming out of his little butt. After some trilling and straining, a small bit of poop comes out, then he trills and strains some more until the rest comes out. He doesn't have a pasty butt, he's getting probiotics in his water, and he's been doing this since I got him last week. Has anyone else experienced this?
