Can spangled OEGB chicks be sexed as day olds like BBR?

Thanks! I couldn't believe it either. Since I am now 100% sure #10 is a roo and need to find all my roos a home hopefully by June 23 when I go to the states til July 3, I posted him in the Ottawa area facebook chicken group along with my loudest pullet #11. Since he is quiet (other than the crowing that he will do as almost all roosters do) then maybe they will make a good pair. I do want to keep my serama cockerel until I get a pullet from him if possible.

They are now a month old and it is the 3rd day since they have been in their larger enclosure so they were able to gain more muscle but I didn't weigh them as it is only 13 C out today and they were already shivering a bit when I took pictures of them.

There are indeed 6 cockerels (004, 009, 010, 017, 024, and 030) and 6 pullets. I am giving away the cockerels and selling for $20 each, three of the pullets to pair with them (003, 007 and 039). I had a few people interested but they were too far so I still have them for now. The pullets have salmon feathers coming on their breasts while the cockerels just dark/spotted feathers (except the khakis which have larger combs). Not sure if it's just me but it seems the pullets preen themselves more.

Cockerel 010 - looks Silver duckwing - weight 5.5 oz or 156 g if I had a farm I would keep him and name him Chicken Little, he reminds me of that character with his big comb, wattles, and round eyes. But I live in the city so all cockerels need to go and after my serama cockerel has a pullet he will go too, already crowing at 7 weeks old but quiet crows for now in my living room.

I'll never forget this girl, even if I want to. She couldn't stay still for a second and was yelling the whole time. I won't be missing her much. Sadly she is closest in colour to the ideal fawn silver. It was like that last time with my lemon blues too. Only one that looked lemon blue and she was the most nervous chick until after she caught a cold and she walked right up to me like she wanted to be picked up which I did then she died the next day. Weight 4.5 ounces, I don't remember the grams and forgot to write it. Band #003.

I still have all 12 chicks because the guy was a no show. Too busy with work and he forgot. I had taken off the leg bands so didn't realize until I was taking their pictures today that I mixed up 003 and 007. Not sure how I mixed up 003 with anyone else. Today she is still the chattiest chick. They are 6 weeks and almost impossible to weigh or take pictures of. Some were easier to take pictures of than weighing and vice versa. Most of the weights are probably inaccurate due to most of them moving around.

Chick 1 - No Band- Pullet - Looks silver duckwing - she weighs 136 g or about 4 oz

Chick 2 - Band #039- Pullet - Looks silver duckwing - by the way the scratches on my hand are from my kitten playing. None of the chicks are aggressive. She is 216g or 7.6 oz

Chick 3 - Band # 024 - Khaki cockerel - I couldn't get his weight in ounces but in grams it is 247.

Chick 7 - Band # 017 - Silver Duckwing Cockerel - 245 g or 7 oz

He promptly ran away while I was weighing him and I made a mental note to find him again at the end but forgot so next time.

Chick 8 - Band #009 - Khaki Cockerel - 310 g or 8.10 oz. Sat perfectly still to be weighed then suddenly started running off.

Chick 11 - Band #003 - Fawn silver pullet - I need to take her band off chick 007 and put it on her and put the band that my son lost then found on 007.

I got $25 for the 5 birds on Tuesday but not sure yet what I got for the 9 and cage because we had to leave an hour and a half after the auction started to attend a community event so one of the owners of the auction said she would mail me the payment after they take 20% so I gave her a stamp and self addressed envelope.
