It's funny how some people only see sex-links as either Red or Black and they dont think of or know the other ways to create a sex-link.
Right now I can think of a 5 way cross that will produce sex-link offspring in every cross.

This is a "basic" 5 way cross and could get more in-depth if one wanted too.

First Year Cross ---
Brown Leghorn Rooster over Rhode Island Red and Barred Rock Hens. Offspring the cross will feather sexable cockerels will have shorter feathers than the pullets.
Columbian Leghorn Rooster over Columbian Rock Hens. Offspring the cross will feather sexable cockerels will have shorter feathers than the pullets.

Second Year Cross ---
Red Rooster from above Leghorn/ R.I. Red cross over Columbian Hens out of the above Leghorn/ Rock cross. Offspring will be sexable by feather color (red sex-link)

Third Year Cross
Red Rooster from second year cross bred back to a Barred Rock Hen. Offspring will be sexable by feather color (black sex-link)

Rhode Island Red Male over Columbian Rock Female, offspring would be Red Sex-links

Second Year --
Red Male from First Year cross over Barred Rock Female, offspring would be Black Sex-links

White Leghorn Male over Black Hen from Second Year breeding, offspring would be feather sexable by feather growth at day old.
