So far I've been doing it everyday for 2 weeks it's corrected a little, but it's not getting worse. The brackets do sometimes come off while playing in the dirt. It's a learning process for myself. I just use regular super glue. Type in the search in Amazon, "AZDENT

Dental Orthodontic Brackets Mini Roth 022,3-4-5 Hooks(20pcs/pack,1 pack)"-- it should be 7$ and
the rubber bands -" 3/16" inch Orthodontic Elastic Rubber Bands, 100 Pack, Natural, Medium Force 3.5 oz, Small Rubberbands for making bows, Dreadlocks, Dreads, Doll Hair, Braids, Horse Mane, Horse Tail, Fix Tooth Gap in teeth, Top Knots + FREE Elastic Placer for braces" -- it should be around 5$.

Make sure to give them time in the morning to eat/drink and then put the rubber bands back on once the crop is full. This is still my first time trying this so I have no idea if this will work or not!

If you want profession help look for a Avian specialist in your area they might be able to help( I know they do special procedure with parrots). If you're just hoping he lives a normal life I would try this, but I don't think this will correct enough to be show roster . I'm just hoping my hen doesn't get worse and still can eat without assistance!

Any updates? I have a little scissor beak who's just about 3 weeks old... I'd like to do something to help her have an easier time eating & living and will totally go for this if it helps keep things in check!

My cross beak actually has gotten worse. I was gone for 3 weeks on vacation and its almost complete crossed. During the time I was gone I wasn't able to do the braces with her. So I'm not 100 percent sure if this helped or not

awww bummer. Thanks for the update! I wouldn't think it could make it worse, at least? I tried taping mine, but I can't get medical tape to stick to her little beak! (and she HATES having her beak aligned. not sure if it's just having her face handled or if it hurts her to 'straighten' it...)

i guess her bonus is that with such a tiny body weight she's the best flier of all the chicks. :/

Pretty impressive, just hope she doesn't overheat. Chicken can't pant with her mouth closed.
