Last week I received a mailing from BYC. Last week I also crashed my motorcycle and banged the old nogan hard enough that I'm going to have to buy a new helmet. Didn't think anything of it because I felt normal. But I'm having troubwith balance and typing, memory, etc. One of the articles in the email had an article about the growth rate of chicks. It's been a long time since I experienced it so I can't answer my wifes questions. I remember some of it but thought she'd get a kick out the article. If someone could send a link to the article I'd certainly appreciate it.

Did you mean the chick inside the egg?

For articles about the growth of chicks after hatching, I am not finding any articles that seem quite like what you described.

The closest I could find were a couple in the section on meat birds, mostly talking about how very fast Cornish Cross grow:

https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...-x-for-health-hardiness-and-efficiency.76068/

Warning, both of those show some chickens after butchering in addition, not just live chickens.

Sorry for not getting back to this thread more quickly. Having lots of problems with this injury.

Thanks for the links, NatJ. None of those were what I was looking for. And, to be honest, I've forgotten what I was referencing to when I asked the question!! Guess that's what happens when ya bank yer head!!!!!:he

I didn't think any of them were quite right, but I wasn't finding any that were.

Just today I noticed this thread:

It looks closer to what you had described.

That is definitely frustrating. I hope you get much better, very soon :)
