I've posted the names of my chooks on previous threads, but I have a young roo that I've recently named.

His name is Funky. This is why:

Silkie/Cochin/OEGB cross. Black skin and legs (with feathers). Five toes. Mulberry straight comb and wattles. Crest that goes all over. Muffs. Multiple feather colors/patterns. I think he's gorgeous.

Some names are easy to explain. I have a D'Anver pullet named Ginger, not only because she has the Mille Fleur coloration, but she's also very spunky. I also have a male D'Anver named Cloud due to his Porcelain coloration (and Pearl didn't fit when he started crowing

). Funky needs a picture to explain his name.

hey *S* a lil shy cause I'm new here

Have 2 Leghorns hens- Shy and Aggy...pssstttt! they think I'm the roo...lol

a pair of Goldlaced bantam Polish- the roo is Wildthing and then wee hen is tiny Tina.

One white pet silkie roo Cotton and his woman a miget buff hen...lol..Peaches

A good quality trio of white silkies- Roo is Powder, the 2 hens are Diamond and Crystal

And 6 Showgirls...lol....Oh let's see...the two bowtie roo's are Peanut and Yoshi....the four naked neck hen's are Gracie, Madonna, Gi Gi, and Jasmine.

And one lil oddball colored silkie that does not have a name yet...lol
