CHICKEN WITH WORMS.. I did not know chicken got worms!!!

If chickens have been on the ground and have not been wormed, they probably have worms.

Thank you for all your help. Wanted to let you know we had to put her down. She did have a severe case of ascites. It was hard, but she is not suffering any more.
So sorry for your loss. Some breeds seem more likely to get this than others. It seems to be more of the high production hens that die of it.

You can tell by the eggs. If the eggs have poop on them the chickens have worms.


Where'd you hear that? That makes no sense, poop gets on the eggs if they're laid in poop or if the chicken goes after laying the egg(happened to me too many times) my chickens would've had worms for as long as they've been laying(a year) if that was the case.
 
Just for grins let's pretend that it's true... how could you tell if a chick, rooster, quail, peafowl, turkey, goose, guinea, duck, etc had worms?
