Day old chicks can survive for up to three days without food or water, week old chicks cannot.
 
I'm so sorry! I had my first shipment of live chicks this year. I only wanted a few, but this guy knew that I needed more in there together to keep them warm. He threw in a couple of extras for me.
Only one didn't make it. It was sad to see, and was glad that the extras helped the others. This is Ridgeway..he was great to talk to, and to work with. Sent me a receipt before I got the chicks because I made the order over the phone. The other chicks..fine and healthy.
