My girl laid her 1st egg yesterday, so happy for her!
She's been squatting for me for days and as soon as her wattles dropped -bam!

So she laid the one, and some days went by - nothing else.
I started to think the worst like egg eating.
Is she an egg eater.
Is my other girl so jealous that she turned into an egg eater.
Are her eggs buried in the huge pile of leaves in the run. Where are her eggs.

I already have 2 fake plastic eggs in the box that "live" in there. I added 3 more, different colors.

After researching a bit, I saw it was common for a few days to go by with very new layers because they're getting their system in order (for lack of better words)....
Then today ~ egg number two!
Sitting right next to my other hen's egg, both perfectly intact.
