After a brief hiatus from chickens, we decided to build our second coop.

One mistake we made last time was not maximizing the run space. I’m happy to let them out to free range, but I hate feeling like I have to-especially when the hawks are close by.

Although we have less chickens (three instead of five) the run in nearly triple the size. Which also means, if I had a few more to the flock, they will still have plenty of room.

Gorgeous!!
Pics of inside of coop?

It does look short, I would guess about 3-4 feet?
I would not want to spend much time walking around bent over in that run.
