if you used a CCL roo over GLW hen then your first chicks will be autosexable...... but if you did it the other way around they would be Sex Links that would look no different that Autosexing chicks...

Yes, it is a CCL roo over a GLW hen :) Yay! Awesome!! So she is a she :) And being that she is lonely right now, she has been riding around in my shirt and eating scrambled eggs out of my hand. Super sweet - unlike her mom, LOL!

CL roo over GLW hens will produce autosexing chicks. CL hen mated to a GLW roo will produce Sexlinks that will look just like autosexing chicks, except males will be silverish in tone, their chickdown will look like silver leghorns but with a cream head dot on them, females will look gold chipmunk without head dot

Simple.. e+ is dominant over eb, making the e+/eb chicks looking like chipmunk striped chicks, now the sexlinked Barring gene affect the Male chick down by producing a cream headspot but the female down is not affected by this.. but on eb/eb females do get a small headspot.. but not on e+/eb female chicks, making them autosexable
