This is my rooster, and he is in with about 20 assorted hens. RIR, wellsummer, speckled sussex, white,mille fluer,barred,blue,buff,black,red laced on blue,black laced on white, and a few EE of chocolate/red/brown.( no splash hens of coarse, that would be to easy.lol)
I want to get more of the splash coloring, and am not sure what hens would be best to chose eggs from. Is splash commonly dominate? Any ideas what color hen would give me the best chance of getting a splash chicks?I thought I could separate him with 4 or 5 of the most likely hens for a couple weeks before collecting for my hatch.
Any ideas or suggestions would be great. Thanks.
