Here are some beautiful wheaten's hatched from gallorojo's stock. I was wondering if they could somehow be sexed by the stripping down their back or if it's just a natural thing. Note I have 3 with stripping and a dot on the head and 1 that is totally yellow. If you are going to tell me the stripping down the back means their cockerels then I really don't want to know.

Excuse the blue legs on the female, it happens sometimes with the gold/silver duckwing cubalaya.

Hmm-I have never had any hatch so far that were not just plain pure yellow. My first cubalaya hatch is in about 10 days, so,I will know then if I get some striped chicks. Wheatens can be sexed fairly early on by feather color, but, for me, not at day old. I'll check my pm in box, too.
