Do other people have lap chickens too?

All my girls are lap chickens some more then others the top hen peck everyone off when she’s on does anyone else have lap chickens and do they have names? Ours names are Blossom, Jessie, Lily, Marigold, Hope and Daffodil we have a rooster named Knight we’re rehoming

My barred Rocks were lap, shoulder, arm and crossed leg, tried head but I wasn't having that.

The hen in my avatar was a lap chicken, photographic assistant, shoe inspector and freckle remover. She really enjoyed going over photos with me and selecting her favorites. She lived 12 years and was allowed to die a natural death.

Yep, all of ours are either lap chickens or like to snuggle up beside us. We start them early - broody mom Sage approved of the human jungle gym

Yes I love it! I had 4 girls (now 3).

This is one of my fav pics. After a multi day rain event the sun finally came out and all they wanted to do was sunbathe on/near me and nap.

They also have to share with the dog.

And if I lay down on a cushion they'll come snuggle.
