Ducks using dog door.

Hi. Does anyone have any experience of ducks using dog doors please? We have the regular door open on their house so they can go inside but it's currently under 1c. I'm wondering if installing a dog door, so we can keep the door closed, would help keep the the cold out but worried if I do that they won't use it so it will be a waste Xxx

My chickens learned to use a dog door. We just got a flap and cut it into strips.

I got this wonderful gift from my close friend who recently passed (may she rest in paradise) and left it for me in her will.

Duckies can see themselves out at night which makes me anxious....
soooooo I installed a whole 3 tier CCTV surround system that lets this mama sleep like a baby at night

You want ventilation in their coop, if you have soffit vents on there, a dog door will work but if the pop door is the only ventilation, you might want to leave it open.
