emu food??

I Have one emu in with our chickens...been eating chicken food but started trying to feed him What we feed Our ostrich...he has no.interest at all in This food...what does everyone feed their emus??

I notice you have a young one, I would feed Purina Flock Raiser until they are grown.

As mine got older, I started to feed them rabbit pellets until a month or so before breeding season, then I would feed ratite feed. The savings was MAGICAL!!!!

I mix Purina Flock Raiser and Mazuri Ratite Starter together, up until a week ago they would only pick out the flock raiser and leave the ratite pellets and now they are doing the opposite and are only eating the ratite pellets... beats me.. and they LOVE grapes.

I am using Mazuri Ratite starter until they are six months old then switching to Mazuri Ratite Maintenance.
