Faverolles Thread

Thoughts please! I have someone who is interested if these are cockerels but I don’t want to give them away if they are in fact pullets.

Looks like a pullet to me. I have a hatchery pullet that has black on her chest. The lack of red in your chickens comb says hen to me. I'm show you a picture of my darker hen
Can you clarify- do mean they both look like pullets? Or just one of them?
The chicken in the second set of pictures Still has almost no foot feathers and it does appear that it’s wattles are a bit darker than the rest of of my SF.
Thank you for sharing a picture of your girls!
This is my first time owning SF and of course 3 out of 5 look nothing like a “typical” SF is suppose to look like!

Hi all!

Another "pullet or cockerel" question here ... I know you get tons of these and I swear I've looked through a hundred different examples in this thread but I still would like to know your thoughts!

This is our salmon faverolle from a hatchery (I don't know which, I got her from Dare 2 Dream farms who buy their eggs from hatcheries), she is about 4.5 weeks old and is feathering in .. .really really slowly. Unfortunately she's the only faverolle we have so I have nobody else to compare her to. Her primary wing feathers are quite black with white at the tips, everything that his come in since then has thankfully been mostly brown, but a pretty dark brown. her chest feathers are barely coming in and have a little black but also the brown part is a lighter brown than on her wings

Last picture is of her and her best friend a Dominique, I would hate to break these two up but there is no way to keep a rooster where I live. Do I have any hope that she's a pullet? thank you all for any guesses!

I promise I will come back and update in a couple months with the final outcome!! I was always sad when finding a past post where I could never know if the guesses were right or wrong.
