First Timer Here, and this may be a dumb question...

So obviously I am a first time incubator user and I built my own incubator and is holding steady at 99.5-100 temp with humidity ranging from 50-55, so I am good on that part. What I am unsure about is the eggs that I am picking from my hens to use. We have two rooster so the I have a high probability rate that our 15 hens are laying fertile egg. Some off the eggs are smaller compared to the others, should I just focus on using the larger eggs to hatch or do you think the smaller eggs will be just fine?

Use the larger ones, but if the smaller eggs are from hens that have been laying at least a month then you can use those eggs.

Small eggs may come from smaller hens. Or, it might be a breed related thing (example, standard sized Cochins are BIG birds, and they lay eggs that are tiny compared to their size). If you've got pullets that have just started laying, and that's why the eggs are small, I would avoid those.

Otherwise, just set eggs that are nice and clean, and not oddly shaped
