Found this rooster living in the woods next to my house!!! Help I want to catch him!! Someone droppe

He's adorable! Gosh, get him while he's roosting at night. He will freak out but get a good grip and don't miss - that should work if you can't cox him into an enclosed area.

Thank you all for your help. I cant seem to catch him with the trap. I bought a fish net and I am going to try that tomorrow , pretty sure that I will be able to get him with that.. I will update tomorrow with hopefully some good news

He looks at least 8 months old judging by his hackle feathers. They would not be that long and full if he was 6 months or younger. He also looks like his tail was pulled out, possibly by a predator.

Looks like across between a Buff Sussex and a Light Sussex. I had one one time that looked exactly like that.
