How long will the aggressive pecking order last before it calms down to a reasonable amount of peace?

For me it lasted for a couple of days. But I was out there majority of the day to move the chickens around if I saw any type of aggression. They have been living together peacefully since late May.

That’s kinda what I am doing, it has only been one day for me.. just ready for things to get back to normal with all my girls

A few days to maybe a couple of weeks. The younger ones will continue to be a subflock until they reach point of lay, but they should hopefully all tolerate each other before that.

I can’t stand the new pecking order.. it is extremely stressful watching how cruel chickens can be! My three Silver Laced Wyandottes are so mean! They are keeping the three pullets corralled to one end of the run..and now the stress has caused one of my pullets to have a relapse of a respiratory battle we fought since July 6th .. she was completely well, and having no symptoms for 6 days, after her round of Tylan 50. Now she is snorkeling again..please tell me that this is all part of the process? I am about to get rid of all my chickens.. too much of a hassle! I feel like I have failed
