"Sophie", Roo Boy's middle sibling. She is CHATTERBOX!!! Sophie reminds me of a thin, elegant 1900's era lady in a feather boa. lol

I rounded everyone up for this picture. hahah... they were like "mama, we're not babies anymore, let us free range..." All six cochins and 2 wyandottes. Wyandotte roo will be bred to my 2 frizzle cochin girls next spring, to make some more frizzly egg layers

I thought i had more recent photos but I can't find any. These were around 12-14 weeks. They are all 17 weeks now.

I am on a quest for white frizzles and red frizzles clean legs, not feathered legs. I said that I would never own a frizzle. I bought some frizzled naked neck eggs from Dipsy Doodle Doo. Out of 16 set I hatched 9 chicks, 2 pipped but never made it. She packed them very good and I would highly recommend ordering from her. Now I want some more frizzles. I also said that I would never own a naked neck. Now I want to breed some white naked neck frizzles and red naked neck frizzles with clean legs. Does anyone know where I can get some white or red frizzles?

It was my understanding that frizzles feathers were suppose to be brittle and somewhat fragile. That is not the case with Daisy. Her feathers are super ultra soft and silky. I'm not quite sure of her color. I'm guessing she is a columbian/blue or columbian/splash mix color. Her feathers are not fully through yet. Daisy was very slow to feather and didn't start feathering beyond her tail and wings until she was 4-5 weeks old. Anyways, I took a ton of pictures of her today. She absolutely loves sitting on our lap. She is roughly 9/10 weeks old.
