Unfortunately we lost our female goose recently and our gander is own his own (aside from our chickens). He is very unsettled at night and whilst he used to honk from time to time it is currently really consistent and we are worried about how stressed he may be without his mate. We are currently in the process of getting another female and will hopefully have her by Friday (will introduce after a quarantine period). Is there anything I can do to help him settle in the meantime and does anyone have tips for introducing new geese to each other? He is currently locked up in an insulated pig ark at night. We are still grieving over the loss of our beautiful girl.
