I have 12 chicks i got about days ago to add to my flock. The first day i noticed some sneezing but no biggie. Then i noticed one of my speckled sussex was wheezing and sneezing a lot. Ive added nutri drench to the water because thats all i have at the moment. Sh doesn't seem to be wheezing today. I did notice this am that one of the gold sex links was doing this yawning thing and sneezing from time to time. Everyone is acting totally normal. Eating, drinking, pooping, chirping and running around. What should i do at this point I've never experienced this?

I would remove the wood shaving and just put them on newspaper for a couple of days to see if it improves. I had an 11 week old that used to sound like it was having an asthma attack when I used wood shavings round it. It never overly bothered the others but that one was always susceptible to dusty situations. Eventually at around two it died of a respitory infection that none of the others caught.

I'm having problems with my flock and parasites too. Need to treat them. Don't let them go too long without treatment.

Hello I'm new ......I have about 80 chickens and I need to treat them a complete variety of parasites. I've been researching and researchingI've come up with safeguard goat wormer, panacur horse paste, I need some advice. Thanks

Can you post photos of your brooder setup and the chicks?
Any signs of watery eyes, nasal discharge, coughing, rales, etc.?
What type of bedding are you using?

Sneezing can be caused by many things - from environment (bedding, dusty feed, etc), not enough ventilation to respiratory illness.

Yes one second. They are in a large tote for now but i will be moving them to my "mini coop" once i rehome all of my 6 week roos -_-. They are in my bathroom right now because I dont want my kids messing with them
]+to much lol. It is kind of chilly in there so i closed the ac vent. I believe it is pine shavings in their brooder. It's what I use in my other coops.
