I assumed there are maple trees everywhere.
we have so many around here.
I know of one guy who tapped 2500 of his 5000 to get an early start.. I wonder how that will turn out once it turns cold again..??
one of our freezers bit the dust. we quickly got another one. the new one is an upright. we found so many really ourdated things in the old chest freezer.. there were five nice slabs of lake Michigan salmon that our nephew gave to us. I am going to makee sure that I cook them all. I sure don't want to find them five years from now..

Yeah with an overloaded upright, things come flying out to break my foot.

I have a chest freezer that I need to clean out. I know it has stuff in there from when we moved back to Wisconsin in 2014. There is a nice solid layer of ice that needs to be melted out of there.
