Also, maybe once we did most pure breeds we can start doing crossbreeds so people don't have to do it themselves!

It is not really possible to do crossbreeds since they are not a standardised colour, you can’t say this colour has this genotype since the colour has no name, not to mention some colours look all most the same but have different genotypes, for instance if you have a white chicken it could be dominant white or recessive white.
I am still learning chicken colour genetic so if this is wrong please correct me.
