Hey, I know this is an older post, but I am curious, what color is the mother? I have some silkies and dark brahmas and am wanting to cross them, and would love to try to retain the Dark Brahma colors, like yours has. I definitely think that is a cross with a Dark Brahma.

Edit: also, silkie feathering is recessive, so it will not show in a first generation cross with a bird without silkie feathering. You could cross her with a silkie and half of her offspring would end up with silkie feathering.
