Goat Thread

Fern is my favorite. And her Kune Kune pig was also very cute. I love all of her videos!!
You like kune kune?

Thank you. Do you offer baking soda for bloating, or is that a myth?

Have you ever used pumpkin seeds or herbal dewormers? I know this is a myth for chickens, but I know close to nothing about goats. But they seem to require a lower dosage for deworming, so maybe it works??
Goat worm infesations can kill them. "Barberpole" worms are terrible. Goats require twice the amount per pound of goat, as you would use for cows.

Thank you. Yes, I am in the goat 4H, so I know how to dehorn. Just looking for opinions on whether or not it would be easier to get naturally polled goats.
3 out of 4 of my does are polled, so i need to use a horned buck. You don't want to breed two polled goats together.

Sure! I need all the help I can get!
I had 2 Nigerian dwarves, the cutest, but sadly we gave both away. Buck, the male, ALWAYS bucks you, obviously, and he will literally charge at Daisy’s stomach with his horns. (Daisy was our female goat). Buck, is no longer alive, not sure about Daisy. We had to give her away becuase she got So OUTRAGEOUSLY loud, we just had to get rid of her. If she just heard a door closing/opening, she would “scream” for a lot. Sometimes even 30 minutes straight. Mine never had any problems, and we got ours from a guy on Craigslist. Here they are at about a few weeks old. I am happy my dad took the picture, he Took a nice picture. The 1st pic is of Daisy all grown up.
