I have 10 Golden Campine eggs on the way and wanted to know what your experiences are with the breed?
I've heard they're clever and handle confinement a bit better than a Hamburg. I just wanted to see what you Campine owners think of them? Any secrets to worming your way into their tiny little hearts?
I'm urban and keep a small flock so will likely only keep the best pullet of the bunch. They'll be hatched and reared indoors along with BBS Orpingtons, so hopefully that good temperament will rub off.
Do they fare well with other breeds or do they tend to stick to their own?
