guess what i traded for what?

Maybe they traded because their leghorns are so freakin' crazy and they are laughing about the deal themselves.
They are probably telling all their friends they unloaded those off the wall leghorns to some unsuspecting sap for some nice new chicks.

Most I've paid for a chicken is $10.
that is a really good deal though. I bought some cali whites for $6 and they started laying 2 months later.
I do wish I could trade some of my chicks for layers!! I guess we all can't be theifs..lol.

What a deal!

I bought a RIR hen just coming up on laying age for $7. Nice and healthy... I figured it was worth adding her to the flock... she's so docile compared to some of my other hens.

i just traded a whole butchered pig and half a young cow, pound for pound for chicken! (or any other poultry i raise!)


and they are bringing me another half a pig!!!!
