Hatch Grocery store eggs (Happy Egg Heritage brand)

I'm interested to see what happens with yours. I bought a dozen today to incubate as an experiment as well.

Candle at day 5, if it's fertile you will see spider veins.

Update: day 15
Out of 2 dozens, only 3 brown eggs are fertile, all the blue eggs are not.
So, my guess is the blue eggs are collected from a different farm where there is no rooster.

I accidentally cracked one of the fertile eggs, so now I am down to 2 developing eggs.
Just candled this morning.
Can't wait for lockdown and let you all know what turns out.

My previous store egg (no “fertile” mark on the carton) was not a success.

Today, I saw this at a local Japanese grocery store. The egg carton says eggs are from California. Brown color eggs appear to be from RIR, some Welsumer and even Maran.
Will set eggs tonight and try my luck again.

I set green store eggs (from local farm) 34/36 hatched. They don't always have them, I bought more last Monday since they were in...

The eggs to the right were from a health food store, local farm, not as fertile, I still have a few in the incubator I am keeping an eye on. They are pretty but not so fertile I am finding out. I have them marked to keep track whose farm is which egg...
