Each time I smell my chickens, I have fond memories of when they were little chicks in the brooder in my house. It's sort of like smelling a baby. I love to pick up one in particular and just burry my face in her back.

I smell my chickens, but I don't think they smell as good as you guys think they do. Mine smell kind of sharp. I guess I have dirty babies!

The rodent smell is really tough. I am very allergic to rodent pee so it is probably worse for me. Luckily chickens don't smell like pee. In fact, chickens don't pee at least like we do. The urine is mixed with the poo.

My dog licks the poo off the bottoms of my shoes.

It's disgusting! Why would they want to do that?
