Hello al! This forum has been my lifesaver the past few years! I am a head start teacher in rural Montana and hatch eggs with my class each year! I have written an extensive curriculum focused around the life cycle of chicks to introduce agriculture education at the earliest age! I'd be happy to share info with anybody interested!

I'm always looking for new ideas, tips, and tricks for a successful hatch with my class of 20 3-5 year old children!

How egg-citing! Fun to hatch eggs in the classroom.

Feel free to share your knowledge here, we always welcome more help!

Make yourself at home here and we do welcome you to our flock!

No fair. When I was a kid the teachers never did anything exciting like hatching eggs. The best we got was walking to a grocery store and getting a red balloon and a small carton of white milk (ick). I hope kids realize how lucky they are to be in your classroom. Glad you joined the flock

Welcome to BYC! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

We own a lodge. We have some good friends that come to visit each year. One of the ladies was a teacher and they hatched chicks in the class a few times. They just loved it!

Feel free to check out our learning center for info on hatching chicks
