So my father owns a flock of ducks. Suddenly a couple of days ago he noticed that a few of his Muscovey’s weren’t coming up to feed. There is two adult muscovey’s and two Muscovy ducklings that seems to be affected. He has them isolated now. One of the adult Muscoveys won’t eat, stand or walk and she’s having a hard time holding her head up. The other adult Muscovy just started standing today but he doesn’t want to walk around and still isn’t eating regularly, he also is keeping one of his eyes shut. The duckling is in very bad condition, it cannot walk or barely hold its head up and is having labored breathing. My father found one of his runner mix ducks dead today that has seemed to die from the same conditions along with his favorite Muscovey.

Can anyone help us figure out what is wrong with them or how to help them? All of his ducks are free roaming, they live on a very large property with a large pond. He feeds the ducks good quality duck food, and some cracked corn and some of them peas. We know this isn’t an issue with niacin, and so far it seems to only be affecting his Muscovey breeds, besides the one Indian runner Cayuga mix that has passed.
Any help is appreciated! Thank you.
