HENS 1---CATS 0

I have one hen who likes to attack the cats, she only attacks the cat when it gets close to the fence. The cat went to close to the fence today and the hen took a patch of hair off the cats tail.
It is halarious to watch HENS 1 Cats 0

My 2 cats are afraid of our chickens, their beaks are sharp!

I wonder how the Roosters feel about cats?

My cats learned about chickens when they would sit for hours on the outside of the pen and watch them. Each of my two cats have gotten REALLY close (right up next to) the wire, watching chickens close to it. Sure enough each cat had its nose pecked. That was all it took.

My cats wander through or around the flock as it ranges freely on the property with NO problem. They avoid the roosters, the ducks and the pair of geese like the plague. Ducks and geese can nip HARD!

This hen is very protective of the other hens, she will peck me if I try to pick up the other hens. She doesn't attack the other hens, she only attacks everything else,,,,,
