Planted tulips on E's parent's grave today and stopped at Red Lobster for lunch. Tonight will be simple - chicken noodle soup and sourdough rolls.

supper today is pork chops in the slow cooker

dinner/lunch is some fried snow goose breasts.

I have no idea, probably something out tonight. My cupboard is bare, so is my fridge. I hate shopping.

Winter hasn't left us yet. Probably Pepper Pot soup or chili...maybe potato soup. Some kind of soup just sounds right for tonight.

Friday Fish Fry tonight.
A friend from Colorado is visiting for the weekend. Something with ground venison planned for tomorrow night - burgers or meatloaf was what I offered. I suppose I could do stew also, that way I don't have to grind the meat first.

Yum, I haven't had venison in a long time! I can buy it ground here but it's not even close to the same as I remember as a kid.

Yesterday was SIL's 50th birthday. I cooked a 'surprise' dinner for him of 4 cheese mac n cheese, ziti, and sausage with chicken and peppers. Everyone else got to go to grandson's baseball game. Poor me.
