Has anyone tried using the bread machine to mix it up and knead it? I don't have a kitchen aid & can't knead very good anymore. I want to try it so bad!!!!
Great!!!! I may just make it tonight when I get home from work-I'll let you all know!!!! I was thinking that maybe the bread machine wouldn't hold all that flour. I only use about 3.5 cups when I make a loaf in the machine.
Its a tight fit! My lid lifts up just a tad. You could adjust it if you want. Mine is the 2 lb loaf model. If yours is smaller you may want to cut it in half.
OK-I made the bread-let my bread machine knead it for me and it turned out great!! Great receipe! Anyway, I had bought a brand new silicone cookie sheet just for my new bread receipe and what a mess! I thought the cookie sheet was going to catch on fire in the oven-it smoked up my kitchen, buckled and bubbled up in the oven and looked awful. I was afraid that it would cause the bread to have a burned rubber taste but it didn't- So---has anyone else had an experience like that with their silicone baking sheet? Mine is an actual cookie sheet, not the kind that rolls up. After the sheet cooled off it sat flat again but I'm not sure I want to use it again.
