Hi all,
Well, we bit the bullet and put the three 3 month olds out with the 4 month olds today - the newbies are corralled in a puppy pen so that everybody can see each other, but not touch. For about three hours, the established hens sounded like the hens from hell - lol. I think I read here that it might take several months for them to get used to each other? The new chicks are almost as big as the leghorns, but not quite as big as the golden sex-linked. The rooster is ignoring all this, but the hens are in a snit.
